Wasn't Gertcha used in an advert?
I remember seeing Chas playing bass in Heads Hands and Feet behind Albert Lee's guitar circa 1971, they were so good. The up and coming pre first album Sutherland Brothers were the support. |

I was in Cardiff 74-79, and saw loads of bands at the Capitol: Supertramp (supported by a then unknown Joan Armatrading); Alan Stivell (twice - once with Swarb) - he was carried shoulder high into Queen Street; Queen. . . |

Similar "furnishing" at Rotters', in the St John's Market/Centre, Liverpool (formerly the Top Rank Suite - and it was indeed rank). Bowie played the Top Rank, and I saw Captain Beefheart & The Magic Band there in 1980.  |
