ive got my vinyl copy which served me well for nigh on 20 years before island brought out the Island life version on a non gatefold lp, which did the business for a year or 3 until i bought the cd with the wrong lineup picture, then a few years ago i bought the island remasters version with the extra tracks and lastly i got the double cd version 2 years ago.
  in my head i can still hear the crackles at the start of the deserter on my old copy and am always a bit surprised that they arnt on the new versions, aint no-one getting my vinyl, they'll have to take it from my cold dead hands
