Slight topic and chronological drift- but I´ll be back on track in a while with a few slides from 1981.
At least this is a Fairport connection. I just couldn´t withhold: Ian Anderson fronting Jethro Tull, Gothenurgh , autumn 1969

The festival grew, but it also meant that a limited amateur photographer with a very limited and amateurish equipment could only once in a while capture the fave band on stage so a few feelgood memories from the early 80´s before getting really close to the band on stage again:

Among the strange things at Cropredy to the foreign visitors from Sweden were- not Theakston´s, that´s very a familiar brewery - but men in White dress, jumping up and down!

Ahh, that'll be the Adderbury Morris Men (but not the Adderbury Village Morris Men), of whom Chris is a member. Might be worth contacting them as they may be interested in that pic for their archive.
