Been to see Steve Knightley tonight. For his opening number he played a Uke. Half way through the lead was pulled out. How did you do that?

Oh, I'm so glad you feel the same, Maart. It isn't just me who thinks Fairport's recent love of ukes is a great leap into Twee Canyon.

I suspect Simon might also feel the same  Lips Sealed

My feelings on ukes are well known. I haven't heard the FC usage so I can't comment on that. I too am glad that I'm not alone. Thank you.

Doubt it was a uke, more likely to have been a cuatro, a lovely instrument from (I think) Argentina. A million miles away from those Horrible Plastic Instruments.

Try playing Uke Central Keith and see if you still think it's twee
