You b*gger, Pat! If only I had a spare $190 (+ p&p!). I may well invest in the 3CD highlights set though (and maybe a t-shirt - love that First Nations design!)

FYI, across the pond, in LA and apparently elsewhere, PBS are showing Grateful Dead: Downhill From Here; 1989. Worth looking out for IMIO, stumbled upon it late last night (just got up!) and they really sucked me in. Band at the top of it's game ? I only ever saw them once, I think at the Lyceum in 72? This was waaaaaaaaaaaaay better.

Not forgetting, of course, that 30 days of the dead is now nearly halfway through this year's free downloads.

Very nice. I really like the mix, nice and separated. And only one drummer!

Not me! Generally, to me, their two-drummer stuff often sounds like tennis shoes in a clothes dryer.

Not new (1998) but a neat psych-folk take on Dark Star. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvt2prFtzWc

I have this on the Fit and Limo CD : The Serpent Unrolled. A rather overlooked German psych- folk band. They do some good ISB covers too.
