Hi Iain

Your friend Steve contacted me a few days ago, he told me you are playing Papplewick Village hall for Breast Cancer Research in June.

Sadly I won't be able to be there as it clashes with several other events, but I'd like to wish you luck and hope you raise a lot of money for the charity.

I hope you like the venue too, Fairport have played there a few times for us.

Yes, Steve's dear friend and it gives me a good feeling to support the cause.
I'll be there with Egbert Derix, playing a lot of the material from "Afterwords" and some newer things

Steve phoned me again today, he's coming to our Steve Tilston gig on Saturday.

Thanks Iain.
