Great review!

There's actually about 100 unreleased tracks - of those roughly 20 have seen the light of day on various bootlegs such as "Dark The Night" and "Borrowed Thyme", but these have been remastered in way, way superior sound and are from the master reels as well, unlike the bootlegs which were mostly second generation tapes.

It's a little disconcerting the way the release date keeps getting later and later.
I just hope it's released in time for Santa to pick up the bill!

Well, it shouldn't slip beyond Christmas, they won't want to lose those sales. But this has happened with other UMG (Universal Music Group) releases, like the 20th Anniversary edition of Disintegration by the Cure, which was delayed so long it became the 21st Anniversary Edition ;-)

The Last Hawkwind album was delayed by a few weeks when they discovered an artwork flaw in the packaging which had to be reprinted.

So who knows. Certainly the week of the 22nd is a huge shopping week in the US here (Thanksgiving, Black Friday and all that) so maybe we'll get lucky and it won't slip any further.

Of course I'll have to wait until next year anyway.....I bought a couple of Owl Service albums to keep me going.
