Has anyone had any problems with Free Reed at all?

A couple of months back, I splashed out on the "Fairport unConventional" boxset.  I've since contacted them 4 times because there was a missing item and they're just ignoring me now.

Any suggestions???

A-ha!

If so, and you're reading this, can you PM me or something?

Thanks.

I recently had a problem when some of the CDs in "UnConventional" started skipping. Free Reed were brilliant, they replaced the disks within days.
It doesn't seem like them to ignore a customer.

A customer maybe not, but years ago I've send them my original reel-to-reel tape I made of some radiobroadcasts of concerts containing both John Kirkpatrick & Sue Harris and one by their band Umps & Dumps. To be used for a John K. boxset that in the end never saw the light of day.
Never saw that reel-to-reel again either in spite of initial promises that I would get it back.
Often wrote in to inform about it, but ignorance was all I got
I gave up, but will never send an original again to anybody without making a digital copy.
Better still, I'll send the latter
