Somehow I dont think a bid of £13.47 will secure this particular item. (a boy can dream though)

The guitar, at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Gibson-Guitar-Signed-Mojo-Awards-Jimmy-Page-more-/260634247686?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Music_Music_Memorabilia_LE&hash=item3caf030206 , is signed by  Jimmy Page. Richard Thompson, Richard Hawley, Bill Nelson, Devo and Duane Eddy. A new unsigned one could set you back £1,600. I wonder what the winning bid will be.

As a possible consolation prize, I have found, at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Signed-Ford-Transit-Scale-Model-Richard-Thompson-/260635769048?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Music_Music_Memorabilia_LE&hash=item3caf1a38d8 ,
a RT signed model Ford Transit. Along with about 28 others. No bids on this yet.
To celebrate Ford's long standing link with the music industry through the Ford Transit, the roadies' favourite van, the company has produced a number of scale model Ford Transit vans each signed by an artist attending the MOJO Honours List event 2010.
This Ford Transit is signed by the British songwriter and guitarist Richard Thompson.
The money raised by the auction of all pieces of memorabilia will go to supporting War Child’s work with children whose lives are torn apart by war.  War Child works with children who have been hit hardest by war and its consequences.
Note: Transport will be done by courier and the cost will depend on the buyer's location or cab be collected by the buyer in our office in London, Kentish Town.

I tried to bid last night, and the bidding was happening so quick it put it above my bid every time I tried to resubmit it. It went from £20 to £60 in about 3 minutes.

That's not necessarily quick bidding but might just be someone using eBay's autobid feature.
