North Star Grassman & The Ravens v Sandy
I've been thinking about this matchup since the first round. Every time I consider it, I come up with a different answer. Time to get off the fence ...

I'm genuinely surprised by how many of you prefer North Star Grassman.  I had always assumed most folks agreed Sandy was her solo masterpiece.

It came down to how many songs from each would I put on my personal best of Sandy compilation. That turned out to be three in both cases so I had figure out which of those was my absolute favourite. JTG seems stirring and indestructible in any performance of it I have ever heard so that was the clincher for me.

It came down to NSGR (the song) having that 'shiver down the spine' factor which has made it a favourite of mine for over 20 years since I first heard it.

With me that'd be 2 from North Star - Late November and Blackwaterside; and 4 from Sandy - It'll Take A Long Time, Sweet Rosemary, Listen Listen and It Suits Me Well.

NSG joins Liege & Lief and I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight in the Champions League.
