Hello, a heads up that Iain has had a memorabilia thinning out session in Holland, and I will be offering a number of pretty serious FC and solo collectables on Ebay over the next few weeks.

Of particular interest are 2 x 7" acetate 'emi discs' of some sweet day. One has Suzanne on the B-side, which has been carved out with a knife (this is how Iain got it) and the other is a one sided disc.

I haven't decided yet if these are the same mixes that appeared on the 'Holidays' re-issue last year, my initial reaction is both mixes are slightly different.....

Iain got these, after the discs had passed around the other members of the band, and have been in his collection since. All of these items have a hand signed certificate of authenticity from Iain, and a few lines about how and where he obtained them.

I am in the process of taking careful reproductions and scans, and audio recordings, and will be happy to share these with anybody who wants/needs them for genuine reasons  Wink

Among the other items, are actetates of Iain's first bands, Pyramid (unreleased and previously unknown track ((I think)) and The Imp's.

Also, a Vertigo released, but acetate on Apple (oooh err) of his single 'Hearts' which is a total one off, one was pressed with Iain there.

A test pressing of his first Vertigo album, with an unmade sleeve, and the actual master tapes for the track 'Woodstock' are other highlights.

The FC acetates will start next Sunday, and will finish at 8pm GMT 7 days after. If anybody wants more information, (or wants to try a cheeky off E-bay bid) PM me, or my direct mail is info@brilliantworld.co.uk.

Cheers, Jon.

And acetate number 1 is here - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150481993063&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

I started and finished it a little later than I thought I would. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Also a Iain 'Apple' related rarity here - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150481997395&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

More to come as well. Still taking notes and pics for archive purposes.
