Just had a text, enthusiastic in nature, from Doctor Taylor, reporting that he and Jamie Cullum perform a duet on BBC Four at 7:30 this evening.

Will certainly be setting the old vid for that one....

Too late to correct the slight oversight now. BUT!!!

it's on iPlayer for another 6 days and my opinion of the revered Doctor Taylor was of course reinforced. Burn the witch!

But that was one quiet, refelective beautiful duet in the midst of a seriously well-rounded tour-de-force of a concert. I have had to re-evaluate the talents and range of the man-child that is Cullum. He blew my socks off!

Speaking of man-children, it's a bit odd that he and Johnny Gale have never been seen in the same room...
