First and foremost: Robert Plant.
Who can say that they didn't get a shiver down their spine when he came out for "The Battle Of Evermore" a couple of years back?
Please Sir. Me Sir. Frankly, Ms Donahue's considerable talent could have been put to better use. (I know, burn the heretic)

The Waterboys please.
Roy Harper maybe.
And Fairport playing both nights with RT and Swarb amongst the guests.

There's a Scottish singer-songwriter named Andi Neate who deserves a larger audience. Google her to find her official site. She's a gifted vocalist.

I'd like to see the Ukes back as we missed them in 2005. Peatbogs would go down a treat. Mmmmmmm kilts.... My husband suggests Rick Astley (another Warrington boy) but I do not endorse this suggestion!! Supertramp or Roger Hodgson. Ben Folds. Turin Brakes to make it feel like the sun is shining, even if it isn't The Blues Band and/or Manfred Man.

Nooooo not Paul Young! He's bloody awful these days. His voice (which was never much cop imho anyway) is shot to pieces. You can see he's struggling and it's nto a pretty sight. Would deff go for KT Tunstall tho, she'd go down a treat. And Aswad

Time for the Oysters to return? And Colvin Quarmby of course.
What about a bit of Americana too? Preferably Wilco.

I really dislike the sound of a fretless electric bass. They always sound like Korg synthesizers to my ears. All that wobbly thing. Just doesn't do it for me. Jules

I've perhaps said this too many times before but I'd love to see a reunion of Robin and Barry Dransfield. Highly unlikely I'm sure.
Other contenders?
Roger McGuinn (especially as next year should be a Richard Thompson year and the possibilities of the two together...) Dougie MacLean Christy Moore (Planxty would be too much to ask!)
