Fairport performed with half Fotheringay but they were still Fairport.
I to would like the Zombies, in either format.
I'm a bit biased - Chris White is one of my bass guitar heroes. Plus I'm a bit of a Zombies purist. Jules

Peggy hinted after this year's Wintour gig in Tewkesbury) that Squeeze were being considered for Cropredy 2010... so maybe a year late?
Home Service & Corvus Corax would do it for me. And some reggae/highlife (I'm thinking E2, the "original" Aswad, King Sunny Ade).

Squeeze are very much working. Spent ths summer in the USA so no Crop but next year, yes please. They are about to start a UK tour supported by The Lightening Seeds, some dates already sold out. We're going to the Brighton gig. Squeeze new keyboard player Steve Nieve from The Attractions.

Having just read, 'Jumpin' In The Fire: A life In Rock 'n' Roll', by Sean Tyla & having only just discovered through said book that Ducks Deluxe reformed & have been recording/gigging again, I'd like to propose them for consideration. His next band, the Tyla Gang reformed would be just as good. I'd love to hear 'Suicide Jockey' or 'Cannon's Of The Boogie Night', or even some of his solo recordings, such as 'Breakfast In Marin' from the Cropredy stage.

Yes please, I mentioned Sean about 20+ pages ago.

Saw a really good group of youngsters called Suntrap in Marston Vale the other week, and we thought they'd go down a storm at Cropredy, and they seemed to agree with us on that.

Yes - saw them at Leigh on Sea earlier this year, and thought they were really good.

Haven't trawled back through the topic to check if anyone else has picked up on this, but according to their Wikipedia and Facebook pages, Mr. Pegg's French associates, Red Cardell, "will play for the first time in England in 2011 at the Cropredy Festival"

Could 2011 be a Red year?
Red Cardell, apparently.
Red Shoes, that would be good
King Crimson, playing "Red"... in my dreams!

Have they been on before...? I seem to remember Dave and Jo Ann Kelly playing at one festival together in the 80's and me being absolutely glued to the spot (and I'm really not a Blues fan as a rule), and I can't remember if that was Cropredy or not. I think I'd rather see the Manfreds than the Blues Band. But then I am a bit of a fan. I'd certainly rather see them than Mann himself!
