Alternatively have a beard when you're a younger man that ages you somewhat and then go clean shaven at some stage and take off about a decade - that'll keep you looking young for about another decade.

I knew a guy who looked about 40 when he was 20.  Huge bushy black beard and thick black glasses.  When he shaved it off and wore wire rims, he looked like his own son.

Somebody mentioned Joe Bonamassa. But how about Black Country Communion instead?

Depends on how long you've had the beard. Usually there's a danger of discovering that you no longer have a chin.

NO, Black Country Communion is classic rock by numbers, I was really disappointed by their CD.

After watching Robert Plant and the Band of Joy, I'm even more keen to see them at Cropredy.
He is still astounding, a different class to anyone else.

I've always missed him at Cropredy before, for various reasons.

What would be the point without the boiler suit and the arm twirling.

Really you all need Ray Davies and the wonderful Felice Brothers.

If you get Townsend, you'll get the wind-milling... It's always amazed me that he can do that.

Does he still do that ?  I was under the impression he gave up after he impaled his hand on his wammy bar.
