One year in a row is too much.

Nowt wrong with a bit of glamour, Nick.  Especially of the post modern variety.

The Urban Folk Quartet should be fine. They have a girl that plays fiddle (I think) who smiles all the time and seems incredibly cheerful. Could be a contender for the "Pete Bailey smiler of the festival " award for 2011.

Is that the one I said needed a couple of good meals in her?  Grin

I believe that was her.  Smiley

They're great!  Not sure if they have the Wow! factor for the field though...

And she looks very happy and healthy to me..

This clip seems to rather prove the point (both points?)....

Aha, who mentioned glam?

How about The Sweet - sadly without 2 of the originals who are no longer with us.  I think Andy Scott still lives near Pewsey in Wilts if Peggy wants to track him down...

Big Country are on the road next year, with Mike Peters from The Alarm instead of the late, great Stuart Adamson.

And I'm told that the Sensational Alex Harvey Band are once again, er, sensational.  Even without Alex and Zal.

Yes, I think I remember that too Nick.  Oddly, I saw the Merseybeats on a Sky Arts prog the other day. They sang three songs at different times on the show, I don't remember them wearing such poncey outfits. Ruffled necked shirts etc....  Roll Eyes

Debbie Duveen and the Milbanks. The Fronds new incarnation with his lovely talented daughter would be terrific on stage.

Haven't been to Cropredy since 07 but hopefully we're all ready for 2011.

Here's my 10 cents;

Edgar Broughton (solo, as the 'band' is no more)
Arthur Brown (deserves to be on the Cropredy stage !!)
The Rutles (would be great fun)
Mark Farner (from Grand Funk Railroad)
Osibisa (haven't seen them since '97)
Leon Russell (and maybe his english friend?)
The Stranglers
Colosseum
David Byrne
Horslips (!!!)
John Lees' Barclay James Harvest (RIP Wolly)
Roger Hodgeson (would be super)
and why not
Peter Gabriel ??!! Smiley
