Not this time around, but they've always been really, really good when I've seen them.

The Hall or the pub?  Wink

I have fond memories of the LPH - sitting on the front row of the orchestra seats for an ISB concert in about 1970-71 - just feet away from Robin Willamson - and seeing a Grimms show there (the Scaffold, Neil Innes, Andy Roberts & co). And a number of tedious school speech days.

Hope you enjoy it Shanks!

Strangely enough, it's neither - It's in the Rodewald Suite, which is accessed at the back of the Philharmonic Hall and is a smallish room upstairs. I never knew it existed until last year when I saw Chris Wood there and later, Martin Simpson.

I have endured boring school speech days in the main hall however!

Yes we had them at Nightjar in Hereford last Thurs. Sell out gig and both in tremendous form. Enjoy.

Yes Nigel, they were on tremendous form last night too. My wife, who isn't really a 'folkie' came too and really enjoyed it. A great show.

Thanks to Peter starting this topic I checked out their tour itinerary and found that MC and Swarb are playing along the road in Shoreham on the 23rd. Tickets now booked.

Thankly Mr Shankly  Smiley

Seriously, thanks for bringing this up, I've not been to a gig for months and a hardcore, no messin Carthy/Swarb gig is just what the doctor ordered.
