Hmm, will I have enough money in December, what with the looming spectre of Christmas...

With current interest rates, provided you've got the free cash, its a good idea.

Prices, conceivably, but I reckon it's a bit of strech to expect line-ups this early.

I'm by no means convinced that I'll be able to afford to attend at all.

December 1st. That also happens to be the same day Charlie McDonnell's album comes out! (I know you probably don't know who he is, but trust me, it's exciting!)

Does anyone have any knowledge at all about who might be booked? I don't know for sure, but I reckon it's a safe bet that FC will be involved in some shape or form.

AFAIK there's one band definitely booked, an act from France that Peggy likes.
We'll have fkall money in December anyhow, so it's moot.

Assuming a ticket price of £80, the net-of-VAT price is £68.09, and 20% VAT for 2011 = £81.70.
Unless there is an early-bird discount thrown in, you'll save the princely sum of £1.70 on an £80 ticket!

£80 in the bank for six months at ,say, 1.5% interest less 20% tax = a measly £0.48p. Invest in Cropredy - you know it makes sense! Caution - this statement is not authorised by the FSA!!!

I would, but I would inevitably lose them. Like the disastrous year of 2008. Can you insure against stupidity?

Isn't that what insurance is all about? Au Contraire, most insurance seems only to cover virtually impossible eventualities, like stuff being nicked from inside locked rooms guarded by rural police constables. If you put something down and somebody walks off with it, you are buggered.

I suspect the premium would be the cost of a further ticket anyway....or more, possibly.
