Sounds expensive but I shall look forward to it! I wonder what the publication date is? A little way away yet I suspect.

We can (have done) register our interest on the website. That gives them an idea of demand which, in turn I assume, means 'the bigger the print run, the lower the price'.

This will be a fantastic book, as long as all surviving ex-members of the band have some input - Judy, Ashley, Iain Matthews, Bruce Rowland, Jerry D., Maart, DM etc. as well as input from Joe Boyd, John Wood (recording the band), maybe even Christine Pegg (in her capacity as original Cropredy co-organiser). If they use interviews from as many people as possible, it will be wonderful.

Swarb too of course - his input will be a must.

My only fear is that this may be a bit like some of the Genesis publications tomes. They are things of beauty but are heavily weighted towards pictures rather than text. We want the whole story, warts and all.

The coffee table format worries me slightly but if they are taking The Beatles Anthology or The Pythons books as their models it should be fine.

I think we're gonna need a bigger coffee table, judging by these examples...

I'd much rather have an really exhaustive history (say the size of Electric Eden) for about £20 than some huge weighty tome with pictures of ticket stubs and old posters for £100.  I'd buy the former but not the latter.

Well The Eagles book list on that site is $39, according to the publisher's site, so that's not too appalling.
