Prompted by a comment in the reviews of RT's latest tour, if he were to just turn up and play songs prompted by the audience, and you were there, what 5 tracks would you be most likely to call out?
For me, at this moment (but that can change within 60 seconds):
Vincent Black Lightning 1952 would be a necessity. All 152 verses please! Beeswing, for it's bittersweet wonder I want to see the Bright Lights tonight because I find it an evocative joy Just The Motion because I need to be told not to worry so much Meet On The Ledge because, well, just because.

I can't name 5 tracks as I am 'new' to RT's work I would definitely want to hear Miss Patsy and Let it blow! as these are never off my player atm.

Now Be Thankful - the greatest secular hymn of all time When I Get To The Border - for years this was the only RT song I knew Vincent Black Lightning 1952 - it still gets me teary every time I hear it Nobody's Wedding - a personal favourite from his much neglected debut House Of Cards - a forgotten gem of a song, recently covered by Robert Plant

Tear-stained letter - to remember that lovely RT set at Cropredy when, by the time his encore came, it was absolutely P'ing with rain. He made some comment about 'go on, you start walking and I'll sing' - must be the only time he has played to 15,000 backs!!

Hard to choose just 5
I suppose you'd have to pick 1952 VBL, and if it was a band concert, 'Hard on me' would be a cert so he could let rip on the solo. I've always had a soft spot for 'End of the rainbow' as it's so damn miserable and perhaps 'Waltzing's for dreamers' and 'Cooksferry queen'? The last 2 would probably change if you asked me again tomorrow.

As for a top 5, lemme see...
Cooksferry Queen Jealous Words Easy There Steady Now Train Don't Leave Don't Sit On My Jimmy Shands (with Aly Bain & Phil Cunningham!)
I have nearly shouted for TDL on a couple of occasions. I'd love to hear him play it live.

A Love You Can't Survive. Wall Of Death. Bathsheba Smiles. I Feel So Good. Let It Blow.
I guess with a bit of co-ordination on here, we could get just about everything ?
