Just as I am looking at getting tickets for 2012 Olympics, can anyone confirm the dates that I should NOT book as they would clash with Croppers 2012??

Thinking of succumbing to temptation and trying for some cheaper tickets. We picked up a schedule in LloydsTSB this morning - but by all accounts the booking seems to be a bit of a minefield if you aren't careful. If Cropredy is the usual weekend then I think a lot of it will be over by then. As a Londoner I am in several minds about all of this.

Oh I dunno, I was quite looking forward to the Barley Townswomen's Guild's re-enactment of the Battle of Cropredy Bridge...

I might even watch the hash house harriers' annual run to get in the spirit.
Does anyone know anyone who actually takes part?

The man who we camped next to last year does, tried to get us to take part. He was very nice and lent us his pump thing to blow up our mattress, but don't know his name!

I planned to run with the Hash House Harriers two years ago - I even took all the proper running kit to wear, but then got horribly drunk on Welsh cyder the day before so didn't make it I even missed Richard Digence....

There shouldn't be a major problem. Gerry will have finished the pentathlon by then and I doubt if Peggy will make the final of the 100 metres this time round so there shouldn't be a clash. Of course if Ric and Chris change their minds about the weightlifting.........................................
