1985 was when Peggy, Simon and DM recorded Gladys' Leap....and weren't allowed to play it at Cropredy on Swarb's insistence.

Although that doesn't seem to be entirely true as there are definitely traces of Gladys' Leap in the setlist.

Ah, hadn't realized that, was going on what I remember reading about that year previously

I have a CD of 1985 which I got as a 'bonus' from a man who did some transcribing of tapes to CDs for me. As he is a member of TAW and has a website I assume it is 'kosher'. Good stuff, anyway.

Before my time, but didn't Swarb refuse to play on any of the Gladys Leap tracks at Cropredy, rather than forbid any tracks to be played? Just out of interest, what Gladys Leap tracks were played in 1985?

Was 1986 Ric and Maart's first Cropredy appearance?

The setlist in the Cropredy Capers box set shows just "My Feet..." on the Friday, & nothing from Gladys' Leap on the Saturday.
