hi mark,
it's great to have you as a guest in our little room here!
i just wanted to say how much i miss you (and stuart) being on R2 in the evenings, i listened at home then continued on my journey to work, and the alternative from 21:30
on R2 is truly, truly, dire.
as i work nights and don't have a digital radio either i cannot listen to the show on 6 - please come back!!!!!

oh and my husband still thinks you are frank sidebottom by the way!

hi there - a lot of people have said that about the radio 2 show - but we were pretty tired of working at night to be honest and we like the music better on 6 generally. so - sorry it's not as good for you life - but it's better for mine.

and poor old frank sidebottom was of course my friend chris sievey who has sadly passed away whereas I am thankfully still here.

The problem I find with 6 Music is that at some point in every show you end up searching the Web for something that's just been played, rather than listening to the radio.

Oddly 'The Organist Entertains' slipped in an great show a few weeks ago. It had Rick Wakeman talking about early electronic keyboards.

Hi there Judy. Lovely to hear from you. I still remember very fondly our evening at the Chipping Camden Theatre.
Our Talkawhile award is in amongst the Sonys and such-like in our office. We were very proud to get that - especially as we tied with a legend such as Lord Richard of Thompson.

Hope all good with you. Mxx
