...We're getting quite close to finishing the new, comprehensive, Dave Swarbrick Fiddle Tune Book (240pp, 297 tunes from 1960s to date). Swarb and I have been Skype-ing (other video call systems are available) for hours at a time and going through everything with a fine tooth comb, and nearly all the music and notes are complete. So now we're on the lookout for any photos, the older the better, that we can use in the book. If you have any that you think we can use, then please send them as jpg files to me at maartinallcock@btinternet.com. We're hoping to get the book out later this summer, so the sooner the better.

Cheers

I'm just starting fiddle lessons at the ripe young age of 46 1/2 so I can take advantage of this...

Well it's very nearly finished at our end now, before we send it off to the brilliant Bryan Ledgard to make it beautiful. I have to warn you that it's much bigger than previous FC books, so it will cost more as a result. We're up to around 240pp as opposed to the usual 130-ish. Swarb has been raiding his archives and there are some amazing old pics coming my way from him on a half-hourly basis, plus I have some 60s 70s and 80s pics coming my way tomorrow. If you have any pics you think might work in the book, best be quick...
