Hmm, are caremelised pears entirely suitable to be eaten by a Northern lad like yourself, Mark? Sounds like Southern food to me, and probably London at that.
Have to admit, does sound delicious though. Will have to try it.


I think Stuart has even been known to eat sun-dried tomatoes, hasn't he?!


I think Stuart is a bit of a foodie. He once spoke on their prog about the time he spent an astonishing amount of money on scotch eggs, at a market stall in  Moseley. I think it was about £28 or something incredible.
I might have some cheese on toast tonight, nice and quick after a couple of hours at the gym.

I prefer homemade out of the bread machine generally, but I don't think Warburtons is a patch on Hovis, either for sarnies or for toast.

Thick slices of Bloomer bread, slabs of really strong cheddar, a couple of pickled chillies. Whap it under the grill. When it is done heap on a splash or ten of Lea & Perrins and some pepper.

You can add a slice of tomato if you like salad.

This is a winner after the pub.

Hiya,

Sounds like I’d luv that recipe – I luv cheese, but I can't bear it when it's stringy, or mousetrap cheese. It's got to be on white toast, with a bit of that American mustard on (French's).
