Hi

Popped over from the Steeleye  pages and just wanted to know who are the singers on the FC song Jolly Hangman (Full House).


orry for blocking your forum which such 'easy' questions but its been bugging me who the two are. (and as you can guess I am no expert on FC!!)

It's called Poor Will and the Jolly Hangman and it's a Richard Thompson/Dave Swarbrick song...and they are both on vocals (with I think a hint of Simon, maybe even Dave Pegg...haven't got the original to hand to check).

Here's a nice version (although I think slightly slow)...with the original lineup plus Linda T...

Yeah, Richard Thompson is the main vocalist, Dave Swarbick sings the main harmony, and Dave Pegg adds the occasional third part.  I think.
