On second thoughts, they would know how to spell "sacrilege" in the caption (unless it is an intentional reference to meeting on the sacriledge...
That's what occurred to me, as well as the fervent hope that the copies burned were dummies. It's a pretty uncomfortable thing to watch, with all the echoes of book-burning. The problem with anything like this is that the more anybody talks about it the more valid it becomes as a publicity stunt. |

I hadn't heard (herd) of FLK....not much to get excited about as far as I can see.
If I want to see band dressed up in some sort of animal outfit - I prefer the Wombles

On first reading the subject of this thread, I thought it meant "burn" in the sense of burning a copy of a CD. Yep, I know, I don't get out much.

There is hope for folk inspired electronica, though. Ah, Belbury Poly and The Focus Group... Great stuff. There's a lot of good music on Ghostbox.
I listen to a lot of this sort of electronic minimalist stuff (Seefeel at the moment), and thought this was OK, although I did start skipping forward to see the L&L reference as it was getting a bit dull.

I watched/listened for 3 minutes waiting for something to happen, then gave up. I like a bit of ambient dub, but that was seemingly pointless. Maybe THAT'S the point!
