Agreed with PaulT for some Breton bands.  Tri Yann would be great.

And I'll add my annual wish for Al Stewart...

Get Jimmy, Richard, Simon and Ashley involved and he could do the whole of Love Chronicles. Grin

Hmm... probably my least favourite Al Stewart album, despite the backup

Cripes...Don't normally have a Cropredy wish list this side of Christmas...But it's a bit of fun, so here goes...One or more of these would be very nice.. Smiley

Richard Thompson.
Joan Armatrading.
Glenn Tilbrook (or maybe Squeeze? Wink)
Steel Pulse.
Ray Davies.
Dave Davies.
Joe Jackson.
Dr Feelgood (Yes I know there are no original members, but still a rockin band for the Rhythm n Blues slot).
Nine Below Zero.
Wilko Johnson Band.
Tin Spirits (Fine new band with XTC's Dave Gregory on guitar).

We have had Robert a few times over the years, We've had a Bonham family member and last year Mr JPJ!

Come on Jimmy you don't want to let the side down!

I can dream! but unfortunately I fear that is all it will ever be!

Eluveitie would be wonderful, we have had most forms of folk at Cropredy but not metal.
We often have what could be classed as pop music, why not a bit of balance  Wink

It was mentioned that he would be appearing with Fairport, it is expected he will play but I don't think there has been an announcement to say it, or even whether it is with band or solo.

The biggest wish list item for me would be an Ian McNabb set with band, this way you get some Icicles songs and some solo work which is a much more balanced approach than an Icicle Works show, although if he could reform the original band and play that would be a sight to see but I'm not sure differences can be overcome.

At the risk of chucking a brick into a pond and watching the affect ... someone has just posted this on the Stackridge mailing list:

I know that several of you are regular attendees , so you may be interested
to know that Bellowhead announced on Wednesday at their gig in Leamington
that they have been booked for Cropredy.
Now all we need is Stackridge.......

I concur with the last sentiment.
