PG is touring with an orchestra at the moment which would be inordinately expensive.
and inordinately disappointing... some people are never satisfied .... Mind you, he could be backed by the original Bay City Rollers and I'd still watch him goggle-eyed he can do very little wrong Yes, but then you were also a member of the Bay city Rollers Fan club, weren't you? Hmmmm. Still I agree on the PG bit. Music god.

I once had a nice cup of Rosie Lee with Peter Gabriel. If you get the chance to do likewise, you really must.
That's one of the the best PG Tips I can give you.

I wonder if any of the moorings will be available to casual boaters on the Festival weekend though, or will they all be permanent moorings?

I wonder if any of the moorings will be available to casual boaters on the Festival weekend though, or will they all be permanent moorings? From the Cropredy Marina website: There will be no permanent residential moorings. But from the same site: Our focus is simply to provide quality moorings for privately-owned boats– there will be no hire boats or commercial timeshare boats.

See here: http://www.cropredymarina.com/Actually I read that as meaning there will be no hireboat fleets based at the marina. If they have spaces during Cropredy fest I can't see them turning away a ready source of extra cash. Would be like Cropredy Stores only serving locals!

All those are things to help them get planning permission. Just because they say no residential mooring, it doesn't mean there won't be people living on boats there. People certainly live on boats in our marina, which supposedly has no residential moorings. Paul

I wonder if the next step will be for BW to close all the long term moorings at Cropredy ?
Cheers Nigel

It is BW's policy to get rid of linear long term moorings if they can. I can imagine that the moorers will be pursuaded to go in the marina. Mind you, BW will cease to exist in a couple of months. Paul
