That would be nice...those two bands were on the bill at the first gig I went to - the first Monsters Of Rock. Not a bad start for a fifteen year old newbie rocker.
I have only worn ****dex on one occassion...my girlfriend dared me to try hers on.I don't think I should tell you what she said when I did.  Lips Sealed

There's a story of a girl, a story seldom told
What she wanted from this world was not of gems or gold
Her wishes were quite plain as you will see
For often she would simply make this plea

And it will be, of course, the 1021st anniversary of the Battle of Maldon, which we lost. I expect David Hughes is working on a folk-rock opera version of the tale to rival that of the Excalibur experience even as we speak.

I see Bestival have added this to their T&Cs, no doubt from bad experience in this area:

Bestival has also brought in stricter rules for those attending with teens. Ticket buyers are asked to note that adult tickets can only be used by persons age 18 or over. Teen tickets can only be purchased by persons over the age of 30. Purchasers of a child ticket or a teen ticket must be either the parent or legal guardian of the teen or child for whom the ticket is purchased. Child and teen ticket holders can only enter the festival with the person who purchased their ticket i.e. their parent or legal guardian.

Any Teen ticket holders attempting to enter the festival without this person will be denied entry to the festival. For safety reasons, any persons attempting to enter the festival with a Child Ticket holder that they are not the parent or legal guardian will be denied entry. Each adult attending can accompany up to a maximum of 2 Teen Ticket holders. Teen ticket holders must camp in the same location as their families and are not allowed in the arena field unaccompanied after 10pm. Teen ticket holders must be accompanied by their parent/guardian at all times after 10pm. Child ticket holders are not allowed in the arena or campsites unaccompanied at any time.

Good Luck to Bestival trying to police/steward that.

How many parents would have to be accompanying their teens to the toilet during the headline acts every night ?

I can see the merits of the campsite rule, but it means traipsing back for something for the oldies when younger, fitter legs could do it in half the time during the day.

The camping with a responsible adult, I agree with.
