Hi!
Is there somebody that have info about the Fairport Songbook,
It“s published in 1976 by Island Music.
I have one copy that I want to put out on the market but I don“t have a clue what to sell it for.The cover is in muted browns and rusty colours, with a young lad playing a flute under a tree, sitting beside a lion.
If anyone has info or is intrested in buying please send e-mail to po.lantto@gmail.com

Hello P-O. We do generally like people to introduce themselves and participate a bit in TalkAWhile rather than doing a hit-and-run one-off advert.

Maartin Allcock has published an updated version which can be readily purchased at http://www.maartinallcock.com/shop.htm and contains (obviously) a lot more songs than the 1976 version, whomever put that out.

Hi Andy!

Sorry I didn“t introduce myself, well I“m Swedish,  in the early 50s , been a Fairport fan for 35 years almost.  Recently I started to clean out boxes on the attic and found some musicbooks that I forgot all about, included the Fairport songbook.
Have only visited one concert with Fairport, that was 1979 at Dingwalls in London during their Farewell Tour, great experince.

I managed to buy a copy from a local second hand record dealer this morning and paid £10, which I thought was a bargain.
