Always underrated. Gerry Conway was in his band at a BBC recording I attended.

Various people on Faceache are currently reporting that Chris Farlowe is alive and well, reports of his departure are premature. Watch this space...

Saw him fronting Atomic Rooster in the 70s.  Wasn't he a Nazi fanboy?

He certainly collected their memorabilia. I saw him with Colosseum in the early seventies.

If he was on Colosseum live, I was at the gig when it was recorded, but I only remember going and nothing more, I've never heard the album

David Hepworth, who reported his demise originally, has now confirmed Chris is still with us after all.

That's very sad. Highly talented fellow. Long battle with dementia according to Wikipedia, bless him.

Love Pilot & his work with Alan Parsons but I have a real soft spot for the Keats album he recorded with Pete Bardens, Colin Blunstone, Stuart Elliot and fellow Pilot Alumnus, Davis Paton, in 1984.. A one and done release but crammed full of sophisticated pop songs.

Paul Cattermole (S Club 7). Not my musical cup of tea, but incredibly sad at only 46

Incredible to think it is getting close to 50 years ago that he played on those early ABBA recordings...So young!
