How sad. Btw, for fans: RAdio2 are repeating Elton John's 2007 concert on Thursday this week. |

you haven't got "polk salad annie" by the king? or "rainy night in georgia"? for shame and" rooseveldt and ira lee" was always a big favourite of mine he wrote some great songs, RIP |

Big Jim Sullivan who played on a vast number of records that have become the fabric of our lives. I read a fascinating interview with him just a couple of months back. He played on so many huge hits that he didn't even remember he was on some them when he heard them! Only 71. |

I caught the news in the "i" today, there is probably a good obituary in the Daily Telegraph, they did a superb one for Richie Hayward.
What a brilliant session musician Jim was.
