Up until & including Topographic Oceans, I rated Yes & Chris Squire in particular in very high esteem. RIP

Just how do you manage to get your picture taken with every rock star that passes through Austin, John?

I read this morning on Facebook that CNN were reporting that Joe Cocker had died of lung cancer.  Since then have seen nothing else posted.  Can anyone confirm whether this is true?

It's true, but he died in 2014 so it is old news... THis sort of thing does get posted on facebook and reposted so people think it's just happened when it was actually some time ago (often several years ago )  Smiley

Very sad about Chris Squire. Yes were one of my favourite prog rock bands and I've had a keen interest in the rhythm section. RIP Mr Squire

One of my Mum's real favourites. Oddly enough I was just reading about him quite recently whilst researching something. I also went to college with his daughter Sarah.

Oh that's sad, I only googled him a few days ago to see what he was up to. A huge favourite in our house when I was growing up. A proper entertainer.

RIP Val
