RIP Scotty, the guitarist without whom none of us would be here, probably.
I was already here before Scotty played with Elvis. I was 4 .

I know Mr Campbell , sir and I only spaketh in jest. I find myself privy to a perky mood this damp morn infuriated as I am by the ridiculous machinations of he who cannot be named.

Sad to hear of the death of bassist Rob Wasserman aged 63. He played on many fine albums, Van Morrison's "Beautiful Vision" & Lou Reed's "New York" being among my favourites. His finest work perhaps, was with Bob Weir as a duo & in Ratdog. RIP.

Aye, indeed - saw that from Mark Karan. A talent to be sure... Sad.

Marni Nixon. A name that few know but a voice that many have heard. I have a major soft spot for the soundtrack to West Side Story, to which she was a major contributor despite what it may say on the sleeve. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-36883629

That is tragic - a member of two of my favourite bands. I've never been a huge fan of the sax, but I loved Keith's work, particularly with Audience.
