Glen Campbell. Adios.
The man sure could sing. Farewell, Glen. Jules And he could play too. I have been listening to Glen for more than 40 years. His final album is one of my favourites of this year. His final three are up there with his best work of the 60s & 70s, especially the dark and moving Ghost On The Canvas. Adios indeed Sir.

That song he wrote about his condition to his wife was the saddest thing I ever heard. I don't think I could ever listen to it again. I'll stick with Wichita Linesman. Awesome record. R.I.P Glen.

Long expected news, but now it's arrived, it's still unwelcome. Wichita Linesman, absolute classic...

Very sad and his Alzeimers made his ending extra painful. A great singer and entertainer, will have a morning of his music tomorrow

Apparently I started a thread on Glen Campbell that was wrong and I have been admonished....I humbly apologise but still like to say that it is very sad news that he has passed on. A great guitarist and wonderful singer. The best ever couplet in a song was in Wichita Lineman...."and I need you more than want you, and I want you for all time..."
RIP Glen

"Witchita Lineman" remains a favourite after all these years.

Wichita Lineman is a classic as were several others, and I loved his covers of These Days and Times Like These.
RIP

Was lucky enough to see him at a recording of Strictly. He did his own warm up and I have never seen anyone work an audience so well. A brilliant performer.

Can't say I ever liked him or anything he's been involved with, but I have to admit he was a hard working old school entertainer. R.I.P.

I have met him and his family several times (10 years back). He went to the same resort in Spain as we did.
Off screen he was a true gentleman of the old school.

He was the consummate performer. Talented at singing, dancing and running an audience. We don't make them like that any more.
RIP Sir Bruce
