I still have a soft spot for Planxty, along with a couple of their albums.   Mark Radcliffe played a track from one of them and it took me back a long way . . .

Not seen anything 'official' I don't think but there are a few reports online that Mike Harrison of Spooky Tooth has died.  They were only mentioned on here the other day...

Tony Lambert, keyboard player on the first two Saw Doctors records, he won the Irish lottery and left to live in Thailand, but he played on the original version of many of their classics. RIP

I heard yesterday and Eric Bogle has now made public that John Campbell Munro passed away yesterday after a long battle with cancer.

John was a fabulous musician, songwriter and human being. His work with Eric and with Colcannon will stand the test of time.

A great loss.
