Weirdly, as far as I can see, it is still not being reported by the BBC and all the other reports seem to be based on a single tweet.

Being reported on BBC News today

Yes it seems to have appeared within the last hour. I will break out my copy of The Colour Of Spring later, one of my all time favourite albums.

There was an awful lot of righteous indignation around online last night, basically along the lines of "how dare you report this because I haven't seen a death certificate so how do I know it's true".  I guess this is the flip side of the whole false news things, but generally things get "leaked" or "reported" differently.  Like this time, a cousin let something slip online, didn't they?  That's how it happens.  The world is changing, and I guess we haven't quite caught up....  The BBC is probably the last organisation I'd count on as a reliable arbiter of 'the truth' these days...

A big favourite at home growing up - we watched most of his shows on TV. And we loved him on Morecambe and Wise.

RIP Mr Preview

49, same age as my husband. Very sad, he was a proper character.

I love the Prodigy, they're my "go to" music to clear my ears after hearing dross (Celine Dion etc). RIP Firestarter  Cry

I wasn't aware that he played on some of the stuff I've been listening to for years, but I first came across his name from a live John Denver album.
