Terry Hall of The Specials.
Devastated  I was massively into the whole Ska revival. Loved the Specials, Fun Boy Three & Colourfield. Didn’t follow his solo career so much, but as soon as the Specials reformed & toured I was there like a shot. I even had my hair cut like his - must dig out a photo… RIP Terry 🕴 |

Not really my precise musical cup of tea, but always present and that early 2-Tone scene was hugely important - musically, politically, socially. I think the only time I ever saw Terry was with the Colourfield at Glastonbury ('85?) but I have vague memories of a guest appearance at a mid-80s GLC bash too. Will be much missed and far too friggin' early. Btw, the first reunited Specials album was an unexpected corker... Thinking of You, indeed...
Happy/Sad about Shirley Watts. What a fab couple they were.
[Btw, there is some stuff online about Martin Duffy of Felt/the Primals...hope that's not true]
