Thanks John.

There is already an iPlayer page set up to receive a copy of the broadcast. It looks like Ralph is the main subject of the show.

Just seconds in and reminded of couple in seat next to mine in Tewksbury. prior to show? I established they were local, supporting the theatre, Is he any good? I suggested they told me after the show. Great chat eventually I said "what gets me is he is on his own, I often hear other instruments" The wife puzzled said "what do you mean?" ....Well no band just the man himself on his own. Staring at the stage she said " was he on his own?"

I often wonder if he gets as frustrated at the predictability of interviews such as this one, as I was. apart from a mention of Albert Hall concert could have been from years back! Sorry Johnnie I found it disappointing. That said at least he got some airplay.

Ralph seems to have endless patience, especially when telling his story yet another time, and being asked about his greatest hit.

On Ken Bruce R2 today.
I think there must be a standard script for interviews with Ralph. Really he's far more interesting than that.

This is a much better interview on Radio London, bringing out Ralph's humour and interesting chat...listen just after 02.04. 'That' song does get a fleeting mention but the interview is much better than Ken Bruce!

Not sure I can get hold at work, but if you search for the BBC / Radio Suffolk / Stephen Foster his shows are usually online to Listen Again for a couple of weeks  - I don't know how far through the show interview was, but I'm sure he'll have forward announced it a few times.  Smiley

For those who missed it first time round, this is apparently being repeated on Foz's Drivetime show after 18:00 today - Thursday the 5th.
