Looking at the Ralph shop it looks as though Alphabet Zoo is repackaged version of what we already have, ie no Daphne or Lorna...everyone scorned her again,

Yes, it's the 1993 'The Complete Alphabet Zoo' set that was first issued on the 10th anniversary of the TV show. It was repackaged as 'Alphabet Zoo' in 2001, and has now been re-released for the 30th anniversary with new cover artwork by Peter Thaine. Despite Ralph's self-deprecation of some of the not-yet-recorded songs, these 27 wonderful tracks are now available again to introduce yet another generation to the McTell catalogue.

Hi all, I have a favor to ask. I am working on a little project and need some info regarding Around The Wild Cape Horn. Too many cds to buy these days which means I have yet to pick up a copy of Somewhere Along The Road. I really have a lot of Ralph's stuff to catch up on! All I ask is if there are any notes to the song in question that Ralph writes, could someone let me know what they are? I do not need the lyrics. Absolute full attribution will go to Ralph if any quotes are used directly. I just would like to know what Ralph himself said about the song. Thanks in advance!

Robert, the CD insert has the lyrics but no notes. The storyline is taken from an old black-and-white film of the Peking's voyage, to which a commentary had been added years later by a crew member. This might be of interest.
