Last time we saw James Taylor Peggy was near the front having a ball... (We were near the back, but loving every wonderful moment)
Perhaps Peggy could make a birthday pressie to himself? - and delight the rest of us??? Please....

I love his albums but was underwhelmed on seeing him live.

Given their appearance at GBFF, it may be time for Strawbs again. Equally, Judie Tzuke would be a fine addition to Friday afternoon.

God no please, can i send my tickets back now?

In the "wake everyone up and get them on their feet in the middle of the afternoon" slot (previously occupied by 3 Daft Monkeys et al) can we have Skinny Lister please?

Cheers

Nick

Another vote here for Skinny Lister, a great live band.

Another vote for skinny Lister, they would bring down the average age of the acts on show somewhat.

Very talented .

Jim I have an idea. I lost mine this year, and you lost yours. Why don't we swap tickets and then we'll both know where each others tickets are located....

Been trying to book the Premier Inn in Banbury since August for Cropredy 2014 online without any luck.
Just called them to find out it burned down in September....Looks like I'll have to give the tent an airing  Shocked

Thanks for posting that. I had been trying to do the same. I thought someone must have taken out a block booking or something as I usually just re-book each August for the following year regardless. We are in the Holiday Inn Express instead. I don't know what its like as I usually stick to Premier Inns but I think it still had rooms when I checked recently.

They apparently have an improvement programme ongoing. The one we slept in prior to Crops13 was terrible and when I complained the staff told me "they're all like that". I complained in writing and the Manager wrote back saying they shouldn't have said that, but not disputing the terrible bed. I can honestly say that the damange done to my back that night lasted right through Crops and ensured I staggered about as though I had once more gone drinking with Dad Volt - which I hadn't! Grin

He has assembled a formidable selection of musicians, special mention to guitarist Jim Maving who traded licks with Ralpher (this is a Rock music expression, apparently  Wink and then played a superb set within a set on acoustic guitar accompanied by vocalist Son Maxwell on harmonica. Musically a far better night's entertainment than the recent Mott gigs.

Cheers Nigel
