Hello all - I've just booked to see the chaps in Hertford on 24 October but can see that gig listed anywhere, including the FC website. Is it a one-off?

To be fair, one of the contestants thought 'he used to be in a band'.

They all had premature obituaries published, Stephen.  Mr Swarbrick's was, I believe, in the Telegraph.

Lengthy (8pp) article about Bruce Lacey in the October 2014 (Fripp on the cover) edition of The Wire magazine...

He's a one-off.

He should be in the Guinness Book of Records for the number of signed obituaries that exist.  Grin

Yesterday I happened to visit 2 shops and a restaurant in Muswell Hill. I also happened to be wearing a Cropredy T shirt (1992 as it happens). In all 3 there was somebody who commented and had been to Cropredy. Godd to see the Chaps so well known back where it all began.

We have a new kitchen, which apparently means the Cropredy 1979 Farewell/Farewell poster, happily living in our downstairs toilet is having to be framed!!
Had to explain to a framer yesterday that the 2 small holes were where it used to hang on a Cropredy telegraph pole!

FC website sez they're hoping to get Cropredy 2015 tickets on sale in December for those who wish to buy them as Yuletide prezzies... more info to be posted there shortly.
