In a discussion about Jeremy Corbyn, one of the panelists (Murray Lachlan Young) stated that Corbyn seems a very nice man and looks like he shouLd be in Fairport Convention!

Ah yes - I remember it well - an evening of Theakstons bitter - then kipping in the car in what I thought was a layby, but turned out (in the cold light of dawn) to be the entrance to a water treatment plant. Nice. |

Nice.  I didn't drive in those days & my driver had to get home & couldn't drink. I definitely got the best of the deal. The Old Peculier was particularly nice that day. |

The programme is my official Cropredy teeshirt now. Four of hitched down from Blackpool pitched two tents near the edge of the field. Halfway through the day there was a big rumpus, as a tree had fallen down on one of our tents. There was a pair of wellies sticking out from the zip-up of the tent. But luckily everyone breathed a sigh of relief when they realised there was no-one attached to them. IIRC there was a tanker of Marston's Pedigree as well.
Fine music, Martston's Pedigree, youthful exuberance and a bit of high tension - who could want more?
