- although I do get messages from the Fb pages, this is so much more user-friendly, and I don't get bombarded with so much rubbish stuff. I also feel that Fb is always trying to point me in directions I don't want to take, whereas here I can easily search back through comments I want to re-visit.
I agree. Though I use facebook now because a couple of friends are on there a lot, I prefer my forums because there's less dross to screen out : after all, music is my main interest.

A man who can multitask... I must marry you immediately I may have given a false impression here. I only did the cooking and the light bulb changing at the same time. Everything else was sequential and ordered (though not alphabetically). Besides, Bridge, think of the terrible political rows we'd have! Jules The politics I can cope with, but not dealing with tasks alphabetically? Tsk. It's off!

"Tomorrow the 16th of January. There is a benefit concert for the refugees at the tabernacle at Machynlleth. I only gig now and then and haven't played in public since Octobe Last, But I wI'll be playing a set for this worthy event. " (sic)

Again, for the curious, I'd say that Graham Nash's autobiography has quite a lot of detail in this area.
