Saw Ric and Simon on this tour at Spring Street Theatre in Hull , really nice version of "Here There & Everywhere" and lots
Lots of entertaining banter , as you'd expect from these two

What with all this Glastonbury malarkey going on this weekend, I am reminded that the first time I saw them live was in 1984 on the Pyramid Stage. I was there too! Wow! In fact, it was the first time I'd seen them live. Simon was playing his Cornflakes guitar for at least some of the set. I remember Sloth well. I seem to remember WKWTTG. I am rereading Black Swan Green right now and just finished the chapter where cousin Hugo comes to visit. Looks like Dr Marinus makes an appearance in the new one. |
