Probably best bet is the Fairporters group on FB.

Alternatively, request a refund directly from your Eventbrite account

Eventbrite automatically creates an account with the email address you used to purchase a ticket. If refund requests are allowed, you’ll see the option to request one in your account:

    Log in to Eventbrite.
Go to "Tickets" in your account. Select the ticket you want a refund for.
    Click "Request a refund".
Enter your details and submit your request.

Click “Contact the Organiser” if you don’t see the option to request a refund or you have a question about the status of your refund request.

Sorted. I’ve asked the buyer to donate the cost to the chaps tipjar. I’m not claiming a refund as I hope some of the ticket money will go to the chaps.

So we know (from FB) that Richard is in the country.  It is raining (or it is threatening to) in Cropredy.  I'm not going.  It IS going to happen, isn't it?  Wink Grin

I imagine they're in full swing by now. Hope there's a bit of sun at least. Enjoy Paul!  Smiley

To quote something  my old friend Dave Rusling  once said in another context, Fairport at the Brasenose was definitely "the most fun you can have in wet trousers!"

An unsurprisingly emotional evening, even hardened Fairport members were in tears as "Meet on the Ledge" ended, let alone the audience.

Thanks, Simon, Peggy, Ric, Chris & Gerry, plus of course Gareth and the crew, also the Brasenose.

Good to see old friends Martin Driver , Simon Frisby , Gareth and Jenny Parsons and many more.

Quite the night. See you next year?

A fantastic, but very soggy, night! Wonderful to hear live music again, and the fact it was Fairport in Cropredy in August was the icing on the cake. Great to bump into Paul T for a quick catch-up, and huge thanks to the friendly bunch from Wimbledon who let me share their nice and dry table pre-gig!

Still a little teary eyed after watching the livestream. It was beyond wonderful to see the chaps again playing (if only on my TV). I thought it such a wonderful show, regardless of these terrible times we are in. Such a great setlist-Close To The Wind, Doctor Of Physick, Bankruptured, Honour & Praise...terrific stuff. A great version of Sloth, with an even greater solo from Ric. Tremendous. I know there will inevitably be some comments below, but I have to stick to what I saw in this moment-there are some who say I wish Fairport would do this, and I wish Fairport wouldn't do that...and I get both sides. But the power of music, and this band that somehow makes you want to laugh, cry, and dance about to is something very very special indeed. I happily made my tip for the performance, and would that I could, would have given even more. 34 years since I became a fan, and I still am as big a fan as ever. Thanks guys, more than I can ever adequately say.

A little teary here too, Rob, and wasn't the sound superb? Just realised that it was 50 years ago I first saw FC - in the sand dunes at Ainsdale. Gulp!!

The sound was edited by John Gale, the video by Nev Bull and a fine job was done by both.

Having been there, I can say that the sound was pretty good on the night, but the recording was sharper to my ears, especially of the second half.

It was also improved by Nev editing out a couple of false starts, although they were... amusing.

Well done, everyone.

Brilliant performance from all concerned both front and back stage, just goes to show what an incredibly close knit team the whole 'firm' is. Quick question in Festival Bell what does Chris sing instead if 'Wadworths' cant quite make it out.
