I bow to nobody in my love for Sloth. I have many versions, all compiled into a single playlist and have just been listening to the latest splendid rendition from Off The Desk 2020. But I have never been able to hear it without thinking at least fleetingly of this.

In my head it must be one of the Richard and Jerry dualathons at Cropredy (with added Maart?), surely - although narrowing it down to a date and performance is beyond my current capabilities... I swear I saw a 15 minute one, although it might only have existed in my dreams. |

The longest I have actually witnessed was Cropredy 1997, 13 minutes and 7 seconds.
Impressively there is a duo performance by Nicol and Swarbrick that clocks in at nearly 13 minutes with just acoustic guitar and fiddle at their disposal.

'84 was my first, then '87 and every year except a couple until 2010.... your music must be significantly better catalogued than mine. I'm not sure if I've got an '84 recording or not actually...thought I did but I'm not sure. So much of my stuff is in store, mind.... |

Of course AT2/The Boot has 1982 at 16.35 and 1983 at19.29. The Other Boot 1986 at 17.26. The Cropredy Box 1997 at 13.06. Cropredy 2002 has 12.49. 25th Anniversary 1997 at 12.21.
