Do these look genuine to you? Both Martin's (not Maartin's) and Ric's look entirely different to others I've got...
Didnt he used to put a double "a" in Maart? Perhaps thats an earlier one, It looks like a cassette inner. Rics doesnt look right either as you say. It's the back cover from an '86 The Other Boot (so like a video box sleeve) currently for sale on eBay. I'm far from convinced although can't really see why anybody would bother to forge it. I've got a 1987 signature that I got myself and it's signed "Maart", and Ric's doesn't look like that either. Peggy's looks just about kosher but then again, a 6 year old could do that one. For comparison, I've attached a photo of my autographed poster from 2007, with guaranteed 100% authentic autographs gathered by Nancy Covey for the festival tours group. Peggy, Maart and Ric are all on there, as are the others who were present that year (except Jude). Maart's second "a" is clearly evident, but otherwise they closely resemble yours.

Nice little clip of the chaps warming up with Walk Awhile at Woodworm on fb last night. Maybe just me, but the tempo seemed a tiny bit slower than usual...

Fans of Yes have been complaining for years that the proggers have audibly slowed down. I guess it's not surprising given the ages of all concerned. Of course, Steeleye have not not slowed down, but the reason for that could just be that Maddy is now the only one of them over the age of 60 ..........................

I guess (hope!) it's just a little "ring rustiness" following the enforced layoff. It was certainly played at what I feel is the "correct" tempo at The Brasenose at half-past monsoon last summer!

Yes have started playing their music live at the "proper" speed since Jay Schellen has been depping behind the kit for 3/4's of the gigs due to Alan White's long term back trouble, with Alan playing the last couple of numbers. Jay Schellen is 61, Alan White is 72.

I can't remember where it was (probably Listening Now) but someone asked at some point about whether Iain Matthews & The Salmon Smokers 'Fake Tan' was going to get a CD release. He's just posted on FB that Talking Elephant are putting it out on Feb 12th.
It is a fantastic album, one of my albums of the year but I was a bit peeved to discover this a few weeks ago after paying a fortune for what was supposed to only be a very limited vinyl run. I've just head a song from this album, I will definitely buy it.

Interesting to see FC playing well down the bill at Northern Kin festival - I don't remember them doing many Summer festivals other than Cropredy over the past 30 years or so in the UK but a mid afternoon slot under Del Amitri as headliners seems odd.

I'm going to be slightly contentious in suggesting in many ways the odder thing is that they actually headline a festival with up to twenty thousand attendees. Think of the size of the audiences they normally play to....I'd suggest the billing is about right.

It has recently cost about 4 times as much to see Del Amitri as FC!!

A slightly tenuous Fairport link here but I have just noticed that the lastest dig on Time Team (which now resides on YouTube) is Broughton Castle. Do you think they may find evidence of a forty year old folk festival?

Diverse Vinyl, those nice vinyl specialists down in Wales, have advertised a Fairport broadcast record as a forthcoming release. No idea if it's official. Can't find it on amazon as yet.
Label is Rhythm and Blues records..

This one: https://www.diversevinyl.com/product/the-broadcast-album-1968-1970/? Looks like it is taken from Heyday or from the Live at the BBC box, but whether that means FC get anything from it, I don't know. Actually, I'm not sure Billy the Lonely Orphan Boy... has been released anywhere officially, so don't knw what the source for that might be...
