I've inherited this but have no player. Free to a good home, just pay the postage!

Somebody is going to be very happy
.  (I still have my copy of this, bought new, early 90s).

I feel duty bound to tell you it might be quite valuable.  🙂🙃

Oh dear, oh well....I am such a minimalist in life I was anxious to 'get rid' of this legacy so this morning I managed to sell the whole collection to someone who comes in to my charity shop. He has donated to the charity so that is something.
Thank you for your reply! It was a chance he came in and I was there today!

...I regret getting rid of my box set, I purchased at the time of its release and sold many LP's (as well as books, Fairport posters, unscrapbooking and numerous other items) about 5 years ago simply because I needed the money...I think I got about £35.00 for it (£70.00 for my Unhalfbricking first pressing)...both went for far more money than i received.

I got mine in the early 90's from a dealer in West Wales, I called in during a holiday. I swapped him 2 albums I'd bought from a library sale for £1 each. One was Five Hand Reel I think!

As someone who spent quite a bit of time in West Walian record shops in the late 90s, I'm intrigued...where?

From the FoF announcement:  Chris Leslie has decided to take some time out in 2023 and following the Fairport tour earlier in the year he will set about making fiddles again.

Interesting.  One could read that in a number of different ways....

Starting to look like Cropredy could revert to being 'FC's Annual Reunion'.

I’m (optimistically) reading that as the Wintour will still be on, in some shape or form…

Apparently the Uncut with Bjork on the cover has got an Ashley Hutchings article "Fairport Dylan and Me" - anyone got it?  Worth a read?

Just seen this 1979 prog on eBay (nothing to do with me).  It's not (imho) worth fifty quid, but it is rather nice...
